Amber and Alec are yet another one of our couples whose wedding was impacted by the pandemic in 2020. The Clover team worked with them to postpone their wedding twice and ultimately landed on a May 2022 date. You'll have to stay tuned for coverage of their stunning Langham Hotel wedding next year!

Navigating COVID-19 and Destination Wedding Planning

Despite all of the changes and modifications, Amber and Alec knew they didn't want to wait any longer to marry each other. They made the choice to plan an intimate ceremony and dinner in the Napa area this September and we were fortunate enough to jump in to assist with the venue search, vendor sourcing and logistics planning. Not only were we dealing with COVID concerns, but now we had to also consider back-up plans in case of wildfires, rolling black outs and air quality issues. Spoiler alert: we didn't have to enact any of our back-up plans and they had the most beautiful micro wedding!

Finding the Perfect Fit at the Montage Resort

It was clear very quickly that the new Montage Resort in nearby Healdsburg was the perfect venue fit for Amber and Alec with their stunning views of rolling vineyards and the perfectly intimate outdoor dining space. Our team quickly went to work putting together a fantastic team of local wedding professionals from photography to live music to hair and makeup. The day was filled with so much love and happiness and we couldn't be happier for this wonderful couple!
