Real Chicago Wedding: Allie & Matthew, The Blackstone Hotel
Being an artist and a musician, Allie and Matthew’s wedding and reception were bound for high creative expectations. The two had a traditional Jewish ceremony, incorporating Allie’s late grandfather’s tallit and the Kiddish cup Matthew used at his Bar Mitzvah. Not only did their dog, Otter, join in on the photoshoot, but he’s also featured atop the couple’s cake along side bobblehead versions of his owners. During the reception at the Blackstone Hotel, Allie and Matthew shared their first dance to John Mayer Trio’s “Another Kind of Green,” a song which the two said has defined their relationship since the beginning.
