Can you feel it? It’s that time of year when we’re really feeling the love. With Valentine’s Day around the corner and engagement season in full swing, we can’t help but feel it! And right now, we are gearing up for year two of our coveted event, Love is in the Air! We were so fortunate to produce this one-of-a-kind event last year with Lakeshore in Love and are thrilled to do it all again! This is hands-down one of our favorite non-wedding events of the year. It is a time to let industry pros utilize their artistic abilities and showcase their skills in very innovative and creative ways.

An event that is chock full of inspiration and creativity, this visual showcase features some of Chicago’s best wedding vendors! Our Chicago wedding pros form teams to each create a photo shoot inspired by the theme “Love is in the Air.” The photo shoots and decor then give way to a spectacular in-person experience where attendees determine the winning team!

Last year the teams brought their A-game. From hand dyed ombre fabrics, to a greenery wall with a fully functioning fountain, every concept was unique down to the smallest details. We loved seeing how each team chose to interpret and reflect our central theme! As the cocktail party was winding down, we tallied the votes and announced our winning team, “On Cloud Nine!” With suspended elements (hi, wedding cake!), puffy florals and fluffy cloud details, this dreamy and delicate design had us floating on cloud 9, literally!

This year is set to be bigger and better than ever; featuring some of your favorite event sponsors from last year, and some wonderful new additions. Come and mingle with each of the teams as they share their design inspirations while noshing on delicious bites from some of the city’s best caterers.
