Real Chicago Wedding: Becky & Stephen, River Roast
After two rescheduled dates, due to COVID-19, Becky and Stephen were so thrilled to finally tie the knot on June 27 at River Roast, in Chicago's River North neighborhood, in a beautiful Jewish ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends! As the City of Chicago rapidly updated their COVID-19 guidelines in the months leading up to the wedding, we worked with Becky and Stephen to reimagine their wedding day floor plans, timelines and event flow many times over. Ultimately the couple was so thrilled to celebrate with their guests exactly how they envisioned.
They selected River Roast as their venue (one of our favorites!) because of their delicious food and the stunning views of the Chicago River and downtown Chicago. Their guests were lucky enough to experience cocktail hour outside on the Veranda, enjoying sips and bites on the perfect summer evening. The Murdoch Room was decorated to look like a secret garden, where Becky, Stephen and their guests dined by glowing candlelight. It felt so good to see a packed dance floor again and we kicked it off with an exciting Hora, a nod to Becky's Jewish heritage.
Seeing this wedding come to life was truly bittersweet for our team--we were so happy for Becky and Stephen to finally get married, but we will so miss working with the couple and their lovely families!
