Logistics for Editorial Photo Shoot

When Colorado-based, La Rue Floral and Carrie King Photography had a vision to bring a story to life, The Clover Team was on hand to help set the stage.

CREATING A LUXURY EDITORIAL IN CHICAGO WITH LA RUE FLORAL

Casey LeGalley, owner of La Rue Floral and Chicago native was inspired by a beautiful story of a woman living an abundantly beautiful life filled with celebration and delight. The story takes viewers through a series of settings, including LondonHouse Hotel, downtown cityscapes, a boat on Lake Michigan, and The Charcoal Factory Loft, while seamlessly incorporating fashion, décor, and intimate event settings.

The most beautiful collaboration of my career. Participating in this editorial was an absolute honor. There’s a lot to say about this project, as it’s filled with great intention, refined and artful details, and a beautiful story
— Casey LeGalley, La Rue Floral

HOW CLOVER EVENTS EXECUTED THE PLANNING LOGISTICS OF A 3 DAY SHOOT

Working with Casey was a dream, and we were honored to have a hand in bringing her vision to life. Since Casey was familiar with the city, it was easy for Clover to recommend venues and settings that aligned with the editorial story.

  • For its breathtaking views and incredible rooftop London House set the stage to start the story.

  • Pulling together a few favors and some creative sourcing, we were able to procure a beautiful sailboat that took us out on Lake Michigan as the story progressed.

  • For its industrial past, and incredible textures, we were able to transform The Charcoal Factory into an elegant and modern residential space.

Beyond site scouting and procurement, the Clover Team was able to help bring together an incredibly talented team of local Chicago Vendors to set the stage and capture the vision including local Chicago vendors: New Pixel Films, Flourish Cake Design, The Festive Frog, and Ariana Anderson Styling.

With the shoot spanning the course of three days, Clover was able to create a seamless run of show for each day that allowed all vendors to arrive prepared, on time, and ready to create and collaborate. With both local and Colorado vendors it was important that the locality of the story shone through, and providing a central hub of resources allowed all vendors to capture independent ideas in a cohesive way.

This is on another level. What an incredible story and setting! I’m so honored to have been a part of it!

BEAUTY IN WEDDING AND LIFESTYLE VENDOR COLLABORATION

The finished product is a breathtaking editorial campaign that showcases the quality and caliber of services and products all participating vendors have to showcase. While our Clover contribution was logistical in nature, it was an amazing collaboration to be onsite, brainstorm and coordinate the details of each day.  We cannot wait to see continued coverage and results from this incredible shoot.

We feel so proud to have been a part of such a talented and diverse team and bringing this vision to life in our beautiful city was a dream come true!
