Clover Featured in Boho Weddings & Chicago Tribune
Celebrating and remembering some of the amazing weddings we have had the honor of planning while keeping an eye on the latest wedding trends, rules, and regulations during the pandemic have given us a few great features we are happy to share.
Check out Krisette and Bruce’s travel-inspired Chicago Botanic Gardens wedding on Boho Weddings. Katherine is also quoted in this Chicago Tribune article about how weddings are adapting in the time of COVID-19 and Coronavirus.
Krisette & Bruce’s Chicago Botanic Garden Wedding
Krisette and Bruce’s wedding venue naturally had to take place somewhere outdoors to complement their proposal at the Caldwell Lily Pool, which ended with a surprise puppy! Krisette said it was “the best day ever” and we couldn’t agree more. Their sweet pup was also included in their wedding and walked down the aisle before Krisette. In order to reflect their love of travel, Krisette and Bruce incorporated global inspirations into their decorations including vintage globes and suitcases. They even replaced table numbers with countries they had visited together to fully incorporate the travel component into their wedding. Some couples have opted to postpone their wedding while others are opting for micro-weddings. Clover Events founder and lead planner, Katherine Healy Brown talks about the importance of unique decor within a micro-wedding, such as drapery and greenery walls to make the event feel more intimate, or pieces like bar carts and mirrored tables that really make the event pop.
